Post-Marathon Brunch at Mingle Café After finishing the Standard Chartered Marathon this year (held at Stadium Merdeka), we decided to walk over to Pasar Seni to explore some cafés—and that’s how we ended up at Mingle Café. I’ve heard about this place for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try. We ordered the shakshuka and big breakfast. The big breakfast was RM45, which felt quite pricey, but I guess that’s the usual rate for a café like this. That said, the portions were generous and the food turned out surprisingly good! I also had an iced chocolate, which I really enjoyed. The ambiance was lovely—I fell in love with the rustic industrial interior with a hint of kopitiam charm. Parking around the area can be quite tough, so I’d definitely recommend taking the train and walking over instead. Overall, a great spot for brunch after a long morning run!
Had a hot chocolate at Mingle Café — really good! But the fish aquarium next to my seat was the coolest part. Never seen anything like that in KL before. Such a chill vibe — perfect spot to just sit, sip, and zone out
Mingle Cafe has a really welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual lunch or catching up over coffee. We tried the pesto chicken sandwich and the redang pasta, which were delicious. Their coffee and iced lemon tea were also really good, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The space itself feels cozy but modern. Overall, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy good food.
The restaurant has a nice retro decor, utilizing antique furniture and items. The menu is simple. We had the chicken cutlet, chicken chop and seafood aglio olio. While pasta was excellent, the chicken were super salty. Price is reasonable. Service was friendly but a bit of self service involved.
Food in here was fantastic and the staff were super kind and helpful. I ordered the omelette rice karagge chicken with the spicy sauce, and it was amazing. I would highly reccomend. Our table also ordered the smoothie bowl and the pesto chicken sandwich. Both were amazing.
Went here to have a good lunch with my love on Thursday after long time being unable to meet each other. Food arrived late and we were in the middle of discussing our future so the frustration was real. Kudos to that one male staff for noticing the change in atmosphere. He first informed us that he will be checking out the update of our order, gave genuine apologies when our food finally arrived, then after few minutes of us enjoying our food, he delivered another two drinks which were on his treat and once again apologised if he may had made any unpleasant dining experience. The traffic in the restaurant that day was quite busy yet he served us professionally and with good manner. The food was extremely delicious, served warm and fresh, the texture was just nicely cooked , affordable price. We left the restaurant with happy tummy, and I was just on time for my meeting that day. Do consider to visit this restaurant. Personally would like to visit again sometime. Hope that staff got a raise and treated right, cause he deserves that ;)
Had a great time at Mingle Cafe! A cozy and aesthetic experience and they serve freshly made pasta, tiramisu, kombucha and more. I tried their beef bolognese pasta which was really good, a solid 8/10, perfect portion with plenty of meat and tasted delicious. I also tried their egg benedict, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I have had better sourdough bread and bacon but it was pretty good overall, a 7.5/10. The tiramisu was a 7/10, pretty fresh and tastes good but again, not the best. I also got their watermelon and coconut drink, that was really good, 8.5/10. However it is to be noted that the prices displayed here in google maps aren’t accurate, these are old prices, each item has increased by at least 15-20 rm, I hope they update their information and add the current prices. As for the service, I would say, could be improved, I asked for the tiramisu to be served with food, but they completely forgot about it, until I had to ask them again to bring it. Attention to detail is important. About the place and atmosphere, it’s amazing, cozy, and good music. There is wifi and plugs available as well, so you can get some food and sit there and work on your own projects. Would love to come back here again and try some other items of their menu. Prices are on the expensive end but that’s how cafes are usually.
